DUTTONS HOUSE, CURBRIDGE
The proposed dwelling is situated on land at the rear of a listed farmhouse currently occupied by a tennis court and general outbuildings. The proposal needed to be designed to avoid any harm to the setting of the listed building or affect the amenity of any adjoining properties. Independent access to the site was approved recently as part of a separate planning application.
We opted for a traditionally designed house with some contemporary embellishments to help our client add value to his property. High quality materials and careful detailing help to ensure the building compliments its setting.
